Nob Hill

Nob Hill is a hill that is located in downtown San Francisco and lies at the northwest of Washington, Sacramento, Clay, and Jones Streets. The south section of Nob Hill is the shopping district of Union Square. It is east of Chinatown and the city’s financial district. To the northeast, visitors can find Telegraph Hill and North Beach. Due north of the hill is the tourist attractions of Fisherman’s Wharf and Pier 39. What makes Nob Hill most significant is that it is home to many of the city’s families with old money. There was a rapid urbanization of the area in the late 19th century, but this neighborhood is still a residential dream, and it is still an exclusive location to live. And even though the neighborhood completely crumbled in the earthquake of 1906, it was rebuilt to its former glory once again with mansions and now the areas is also home to exclusive hotels. Hotels in Nob Hill are the perfect place to stay if you want to be surrounded by luxury on your San Francisco vacation. Hotels in Nob Hill may be a little more expensive, but for all of the amenities you get, it will be worth it.
