Las Vegas Hotels
Las VegasWhat is there to say about Las Vegas? It is the sparkling, glittering jewel of Nevada, a place to forget yourself and have fun. It has also become a family destination these last few years, with large resort style hotels that cater to the younger crowd. There’s Circus Circus (yes, there’s actually a performing circus), there’s Treasure Island, with its daily Pirate show, and the list is endless. For those who want the true, glamorous Las Vegas experience, there’s the Bellagio, with its fantastic fountain in front and gorgeous lobby; of course, one doesn’t have to stay at the Bellagio to enjoy the fountains, which can be seen from “The Strip”, the famous street where all of the big casinos are located. For those of you who are on a more limited budget, there are literally hundreds of casinos just off the Strip, with Riverboat themes, Wild West themes, you name it. There is a place for everyone in Vegas, regardless of budget, age, or inclination. There are kid friendly ice shows, Cirque du Soleil, even children’s plays. For the adults, the list just goes on and on and ON: On any given night, there are over one hundred live shows from which to choose, from headline acts like Celine Dion or Elton John, to live animal acts with exotic tigers and elephants, to adult themed dance shows, where the show girls are wearing little more than their smiles. And most of the hotels provide child care for when the adults in the group want to hit the casinos; laws regarding children in the casinos are strictly enforced, and no one under the age of 21 will be admitted, not even babies or toddlers.
