The city also takes a major part in NASCAR, being the home of the headquarters to it as well as the headquarters of the Grand American Road Racing Association. Daytona Beach is known also to be a seasonal town because there are many people that come to Daytona during the racing season beginning in February. It was also home to some of the biggest Spring Break parties in the country, but recently many of the Spring Break students have found other places to party such as Panama City. If you are a racing fan, then there is no better place to be than Daytona Beach. You can catch NASCAR and other races throughout the year as well as take in the Daytona 500 Experience. You can not only watch a live race, but you can also check out the history of motor sports in Daytona Beach and around the world at the International Motor Sports Hall of Fame. If racing is not your thing, there is still plenty to do in Daytona Beach. You can check out the history of the area by visiting the Halifax Historical Museum. You can also see a game at the Jackie Robinson Ballpark. If you are interested in science, you can spend the day at the Museum of Arts and Sciences.
