About Siena

Siena’s 12th Century Duomo is a prime example of Italian Romanesque architecture and was intended to be the largest cathedral in the world, but after the completion of half of it, the project was abandoned. Siena is also known for jazz and is home to the Siena Jazz School, where musicians from all over the world study and play—especially during a two-week festival held every summer.
