The Bettoja Hotel Mediterraneo Roma is a 4 star Rome hotel that is located on the Esquilino hill allowing for a beautiful panoramic view of Rome. There are 251 rooms spread out on the 10 floors of the hotel. The room amenities include A/C with controls in room; color TV with international channels, safe, mini-bar and phone. The rooms are in a traditional but luxurious style and all with comfortable bedding. For those staying in the suites on the 10th floor they could enjoy one of the 7 sunlit ones and which have large bathtubs with hydro-jets. These 7 rooms also have terraces from which you can enjoy a beautiful view of Rome. In the morning you can have breakfast in the Breakfast Room of Bettoja Hotel Mediterraneo Roma. This was my first trip to Rome. I stayed at the Mediterraneo Hotel on vacation with my two friends. I found this hotel was situated on a perfect position where major tourist attractions were located nearby. Termini station is just around the corner if you want to take public transport. We chose to walk while sightseeing. Rome was really fantastic. Many beautiful historic sites. Hotel staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Room was decent, extremely clean and very well decorated.

Good view of Esquilino hill

We had a good view of Esquilino hill from our The Bettoja Hotel Mediterraneo Roma window, also panoramic view of Rome and A/C with controls in room; color TV with international channels, safe, mini-bar which was too tempting and reflected in the bill!

Beautiful hotel that has a nice art deco style. Very close to the underground train terminal and centrally located in town within walking distance of many of Rome's most important sights and museums. The room was very nice and decorated an very appeasing way. I especially enjoyed the rooftop bar, you get a real unique view of the city at night.

Almost Fine

The hotel was adequate, it was clean and nice also near the Colloseum. The rugs on my room were little bit worn out, and the beds were not too comfy for me. The water was running brown, but then the staffs fixed that for me. The hotel buildings were surrounded by the grafiti, made it looked dirty. However, there were a lot of great restaurants near by.

Good Rooms, Good Location

The hotel is located in an area that is pretty central to all of the attractions that we wanted to visit. Within a short walk of 10 minutes or so you can get to many area attractions which is nice. The room we had was more than adequate and we had a nice time while staying here. They offer a decent breakfast, nothing elaborate but it gets the job done.
