Ferrara
"Ferrara is a city in northern Italy, and capital city of the Province of Ferrara which is situated 50 km north of the town of Bologna. The town has wide cobble stone streets and a number of stunning palaces dating from the 14th century and 15th century. Due to its importance within the country of Italy, and the stunning cultural and historical landmarks it offers Ferrara has been classified by UNESCO as World Heritage Site. Modern times have brought a renewal of industrial activity and with it an influx in Ferrara hotel resorts.
Ferrara is famous for its historical places. Tourists usually come here for sight seeing. Famous places of Ferrara are: Lucca, Palazzo dei Diamanti (Diamond Palace), The Palazzo Schifanoia (sans souci), The church of Santa Maria in Vado, The Communal Theatre, The Certosa, The Massari gardens, The monastery of Sant'Antionio in Polesine, and The house of the poet Ludovico Ariosto. Many of the major attractions are in close proximity to the hotels in Ferrara.
