"Agrigento is a city on the South Coast of Sicily, Italy, famous for its Greek Valley of Temples, popular with tourists for its historical roots.
There are a number of up market hotels in Agrigento mainly located close to the coast or near the main temple ruin areas, however there is also a great selection of less costly guest house and family run establishments which offer a lot of comfort for a great price.

‘Old’ Agrigento is the most ancient part of the city, and as well as various small souvenir shops, you can view the large cathedral, and the Chiesa di Santa Maria dei Greci, a 1000 year old Norman church.
