"Milton Keynes is a modern and contemporary popular tourist town built to accommodate the mass population in London, and is also known as Britain’s most famous ‘new town’.
The city originally numerous small rural villages, however now the town of Milton Keynes encompasses all of these, and has a number of walkways and cycle tracks that keep traffic separate from pedestrians.
The hotels in Milton Keynes are mainly large chain hotels, or are situated within large manor houses and listed buildings that remain from the original villages. They are designed to suit a number of budgets, however as they are in close proximity to the capital city of London, Milton Keynes Hotels are slightly more pricey than an average budget hotel.
There is a number of things to do in the town close by to Milton Keynes Hotels, in particular the Willen Lakeside Park which offers its tourists the chance to do water sports, the Milton Keynes Museum, and the family friendly Bourton Mill which is a great indoor water park complete with flumes, slides and wave pools.
