Syon House and Gardens

Syon House and its adjoining 200-acre park are located in West London. It is home to the Duke of Northumberland, and has been for the last four hundred years; it is, in fact, the last remaining ducal residence in London. It has an interior designed by Robert Adam, whose work is so well known that his name has become an adjective, as in “an authentic Adam interior”, and is one of the most beautifully preserved historic homes in the Greater London. The house and grounds border The Thames, and across the river is a gorgeous view of Kew Gardens. Syon House and its Gardens are open to the public all year round, and are also available for weddings and business functions. Touring the interior of the beautifully appointed house can take an entire day in and of itself, and the surrounding park can take many days on its own. There is a rose garden, a butterfly garden, and an Enchanted Wood. Truly, Syon House is a must see destination for anyone going to London.
