Mayfair

The Mayfair district, located in London’s West End, is acknowledged by all to be the most exclusive district in The City. It is the Fifth Avenue of London, but more, because it is an entire neighborhood, not just a street. The Mayfair District is roughly bounded by Park Lane, Piccadilly, Regent Street, and Oxford Street, and within this square are the trendiest eateries, the priciest car dealerships, the fanciest clothing and designer boutiques; when you say Mayfair, you mean the classiest there is. World famous Savile Row is located in Mayfair, as is Bond Street, where the shopping is unequaled. You will find jewelry stores, antique shops, and bakeries with the most delicious pastries, anything you desire, as long as you can afford it. Flower shops, wine merchants, pubs, handmade furniture, all can be found at Mayfair. You could easily spend three or four days exploring the beauty of this district, where even the houses are works of art; it is the most expensive real estate in the entire city, and it shows.
