Kensington and Chelsea

This borough was formed by the pairing of the Royal Borough of Kensington and the district of Chelsea. Chelsea once was the artist's quarter in London, it was considered a bohemian district. In the new borough, Kensington & Chelsea, there are some fashionable districts such as Notting Hill, where is held a famous carnival and that has been the setting for a famous movie starring H. Grant and J. Roberts, and Earls Court. Kensington and Chelsea is next door to Westminster and, while strolling through its streets, we recommend you not to miss Kensington Square, the Kensington Palace Gardens, Leighton House, all near the High Street Kensington tube stop, Holland Park, the Kensington Roof Gardens, the Diana Princess of Wales Memorial Playground, Portobello Road, Notting Hill Gate or Ladbroke Grove tube stop, with its worldwide famous market, where is said that Freddy Mercury had a stall before gaining success with "The Queen" and, if you are a music fan, 22 Lansdowne Crescent where you will see the building were Jimi Hendrixs' dead body was found on the 17th of September of 1970.
