Hampstead

So you are planning a trip to London... and maybe you want to see where the rich and famous live in the capital of the United Kingdom. If it is so you must not miss a visit to the suburb of Hampstead. Here, in the district of Camden, you will find some of the more expensive buildings of The City and, if you are lucky enough, you might bump into one of the famous inhabitants of the neighbourhood such as Gwyneth Paltrow, Hugh Grant, Geri Halliwel, Emma Bunton, Sienna Miller and many more. This suburb has been the home for many illustrious names of English literature such as: William Blake, John le Carré, Charles Dickens, Ian Fleming (father of "James Bond"), John Keats, David Herbert Richards Lorence, George Orwell, Percy Bysshe Shelley, H.G Welles. While looking out for famous people don't forget to take a look at some of the beautiful buildings and gardens of this area, like those on Flask or Well Walk, tube stop Hampstead, or Hampstead Heath, Parliament Hill and the Hill Garden, Burgh House, Fenton House and Keats House.
