Edinburgh Imaginate Festival
Germany, France, the Netherlands and Belgium are adding even more theatre, dance and puppetry to Bank of Scotland’s Imaginate Festival. The Edinburgh based event is the largest performing art festival for children and young people in the United Kingdom.It is no wonder 14 national and international productions, with over 100 performances, draws an audience exceeding 10,000 members during May and June each year.
Share the entire week of this annual event with even more young people by taking a group. Productions are age specific for planning purposes, and to maintain young audience members’ full attention. Help is available with transportation of groups to the festival, tickets are only 5 British pounds and free teacher/leader tickets for every 10 students make things even better. Don’t worry! Guides are on hand to assist each group upon arrival at the festival and each presentation.
Become more involved by being a delegate from your business or group. Packages vary depending on whether you are producer, programmer, practitioner, or all of the above.
Tickets, industry presentations, social events and delegate manual containing company information and contact listings are included to sweeten the stay.
Whichever you choose, don’t delay. Booking schools and groups begins in January. By becoming a “family and friend” of the festival, booking follows in March. All others may buy tickets afterward, and then it’s time to get ready to Imaginate.
