Ayr Hotels
Ayr is the largest of the Clyde Coast seaside holiday towns, and is located 32 miles from the large city of Glasgow. Centred in between the peaks of Arran, and with the Mull of Kintyre in the background, the city has glorious scenic views, and provides both a stunning rural setting and a number of interesting attractions.
Ayr Hotels are old, many dating back hundreds of years or more, yet many provide additional creature comforts that will make your stay an enjoyable one. Alloway, in the county of Ayrshire was also the birthplace of famous Scottish poet, Robert Burns, and a statue takes centre stage in the town as a lasting tribute to his work. This village is only a short distance from the city of Ayr, and provides a popular day trip for a number of visitors.
