The check in and out process was very easy and fast. The staff was very warm and friendly. The hotel was small but it was comfortable and clean. The bed was comfortable and soft. though the room was quite small but it was enough for a single. The bathroom was also clean and spotless. The breakfast was nice and delicious. This hotel was great though small, it fulfilled my needs properly.

Decent hotel, friendly staff

Hotel Phoenicia was a small hotel located close to the Gare Matabiau train station. It's very close to the venue where I had a seminar to attend to. The neighborhood looked insecure. I saw a group of young people hanging around in the corner of the street every day. Room was basic. It's simple and small. Breakfast was a little surprise. The croissants and yogurt tasted wonderful.
