The Tryp Ambassador hotel is a central Madrid hotel conveniently located near some of the most popular attractions in the city, such as the Plaza Mayor, the Royal Palace and the Museo del Prado. Rooms need updating, but staff is really good.

Check in and check out was very fast and easy here. Room and bathroom were good sized and very clean. The decor is in need of a little refreshing, especially the color palette. There is WiFi, but none of the other in-room amenities such as a coffee maker. Staff was very courteous and friendly, and helped us find some places to go locally. It's centrally located, and a nice hotel for the money you spend.

If you've every stayed at a Tryp before, you understand that they are very extravagant. This one is no exception. The rooms are beautiful and have great views of the city. The onsite restaurant serves excellent local dishes and a breakfast buffet in the morning. There are antiques everywhere which give this place a real old-world feel.

Artistic Building

I liked the art deco of the hotel. It was so unique and artistic in such a way. It was centrally located and near by the downton of Madrid. Unfortunately, there was no car parking in the hotel. The room size was average and standard. The amenities in the room were also standard, with usual beds, small bathroom, etc. there was nothing special in the room. The reason that I wanted to stay here, it was just because the artistic building.

This is a good hotel in that neighbourhood. The rooms are nice, spacious. The hotel is good but needs some renovation. The staff are friendly and very helpful. This hotel is in a great location suitable for sightseeing. Highly recommended

This hotels is located in a quite area within the historic city of Madrid and is only a short walk to a lot of this areas main attractions. The hotel hosts 180 air conditioned ensuite guest rooms.
