Located right on the Gran Via, the High Tech Avenida Gran Via is a central Madrid hotel that close to many of the shopping, cultural and entertainment spots in the city. Some of the nearby tourist attractions include the Puerta del Sol, the Royal Palace, the Plaza Mayor, and the Reina Sofia. Originally built in the 1930s, the Madrid hotel has been recently renovated. The High Tech Avenida Gran Via has 64 guestrooms, each equipped with satellite television, air conditioning/heating, a mini bar, a hydro massage shower, a safety deposit box and Internet access. Guests have a choice between smoking and non-smoking rooms. Special arrangements can also be made for any pets or infants that are travelling as well. During the months of July and August, all kids staying at this hotel in Madrid receive lollipops and a teddy bear as welcome presents. The Madrid hotel also has a variety of other services, like free bike rental, laundry services, on-call medical services, discounted rates to a nearby gym, and babysitting services. Unfortunately, there is no on-site restaurant, but travelers should take the time to explore the surrounding area with numerous dining options. The central Madrid hotel does serve a continental breakfast every morning.
The High Tech Avenida Callao hotel has just been refurbished. A new look of contemporary architecture now becomes the main theme of this comfortable 3 star hotel in Madrid. The High Tech Avenida Callao hotel lies close to the Gran Via. Major tourist attractions such as The Palacio Real Palace and Puerta del Sol are located in the immediate vicinity.
The hotel’s facilities and services include a complimentary wi fi internet connectivity throughout the hotel. Guests can rent bikes to explore the city of Madrid here. The friendly and helpful staff who are stand by for 24 hours at the reception desk will give free city maps during the check in process. The hotel also offers an airport shuttle service. A business center is also built on site for visitors who stay at the hotel for business purposes.
An extensive and tasty breakfast with buffet style is served daily. The breakfast time is allocated from 07.30 until 10.30 am. The menu for breakfast is a blend of international and national food with tea or coffee.

The High Tech Avenida Callao hotel has a really prime location. You can visit a number of popular museums in the city. The Reina Sofia is also accessible. The historic quarter that is filled with dining places, bars, shops and cinemas are close at hand.

My friend and I were at this hotel for our best friend wedding. Stayed for three days to visit Madrid was a great choice. The staff was courteous and nice. The room was adequate with very comfortable bed and bathroom. The breakfast was also delicious in fair price. The Metro was very close to the hotel and it was good since we need to have a ride to wander around the town.

I wanted to have memorable experience in this city. my friends recommended this hotel to me. The hotel was good with nice room and comfortable bathroom. The hotel itself was ancient old building but well maintained and well kept. The food was excellent. the service was also excellent. It was a complete and real memorable stay. I will also recommend this hotel to my friends.

High Tech

I'm not sure where the hotel gets the name "High Tech", I wouldn't say there's anything particularly high tech about this place but it is nice. It's located right on Gran Via as the name implies and is right in the heart of several restaurants and shops. The rooms are decent and the hotel staff is friendly. I expected a little more for the price though.

Hydro Shower Was Nice

I know I should be boasting the location, which I will, but the hydro shower was awesome. After traveling for hours or walking the city for hours, you can appreciate a nice hot shower that doubles as a massage. Loved it. Okay, location was fantastic for hotel that wasn't too entirely expensive. Gran Via is the place to be in downtown Madrid.

Noisy hotel

This High Tech Avenida Gran Via Hotel was terribly noisy during our stay there. The windows and also walls need soundproofing. We could hear neighbor’s conversation through the wall. The noise also came from the street. The staff were friendly and the internet access was free though. Its location that close to Gran Via, Callo & Sol Metro stations is also a plus
