Sants MontjuïcGeneral Info The area called Sants-Montjuïc is the southern border of the city of Barcelona. It embraces Hostafrancs, la Bordeta, Montjuïc, Poble-Sec and Sants. The hill of Montjuïc as the highest concentration of amusement areas in all Barcelona. Since this area has very few water resources, it was uninhabited until a Castle was built on top of the hill in 1640.
