"The city of Lübeck is the second largest city in Schleswig-Holstein, in northern Germany. It is on UNESCO's list of World Heritage Sites due to its wonderful architecture and gothic landmarks, which make it a historical hot spot for tourists.
The city borders the Baltic Sea and is close to neighbouring major cities including Hamburg and the stunning Baltic coastal resorts of Mecklenburg Pommerania. There is much to do whilst staying in your Lubeck hotel, the most famous area to visit being the Altstadt, a medieval old town situated on a small island, surrounded by the Trave River.
