Köpenick General Info
The lovely and historic village of Köpenick grew at the spot where the Dahme and Spree Rivers meet, in the south eastern corner of Berlin. It was an independent town until it became a part of Berlin in 1920. Today, it is part of the borough of Treptow-Köpenick, and a charming place to stay on any visit to Germany's capital. The principal attraction of a Köpenick hotel is that the district is home to many large and lovely forests and lakes, including the largest lake in the city, Müggelsee Lake.
