Prague Castle is, according to the Guinness World Record Book, the biggest ancient castle in the world. This astonishing castle is also an overview of the architectural styles of the last millennium. The history of Prague Castle goes back to the year 870 A.D. when the Church of our Lady was erected. Actually Prague Castle is composed by different buildings erected throughout many centuries. It has two churches, four palaces, many beautiful gardens and nine other different buildings. All those different locations give to the Castle an intricate structure that probably gave to Franz Kafka the inspiration for is novel "The Castle". Prague Castle is also home to the Czech Crown Jewels.
