Petrin Observation Tower

Reminiscent of Paris’ Eiffel Tower, the Petrin Hill Observation Tower adds another 60m to the top of Petrin Hill, and provides absolutely the best views of Prague and the surrounding regions of the Czech Republic. If you are photographer, you will leave this site with some of the most impressive photos of your trip to Prague; just be sure to bring your wide-angle lens to capture the truly expansive views. The Petrin Tower itself has 299 steps that must be climbed to reach the top; there is also an elevator, though if you can manage the steps, you may have a more interesting story to tell when you are showing your friends the magnificent photos you have taken from the top. If you make the walk to the top, you will be provided with one of the best vantage points in all of Prague. Since the tower sits atop Petrin Hill, which is itself 318m high, the peak of the Petrin Tower will place you at 378m above Prague. At the base of the tower, there is also a hall of mirrors attraction that will appeal to all ages, particularly the children.
