Petrin Hill

If you are looking for breathtaking views of Prague, then the first place you need to go is Petrin Hill. The hill itself is over 300m tall, and overlooks all of Prague, but there is an added bonus for those that make the trek to the top of the hill; the Observation Tower. Reminiscent of Paris’ Eiffel Tower, the Petrin Hill Observation Tower add another 60m to the top of the hill, and provides absolutely the best views of Prague and the surrounding regions of the Czech Republic. If you are a photographer, you will leave this site with some of the most impressive photos of your trip to Prague; just be sure to bring your wide-angle lens to capture the truly expansive views. If you enjoy exercise, you should definitely take the stroll to the top of Petrin Hill, which affords views of gardens and even an apple orchard as you make your way up the hillside. Of course, there are also taxis that will get you the top with little effort, if you prefer to save your energy for the 299 step climb to the top of the Observation Tower once you reach the summit of the hill.
