Infant Jesus of Prague(Česky: Pražské Jezulátko)General Info This 47 cm high waxen and wooden statue of Infant Jesus is a work of art of an unknown artist. According to the tradition the statue comes from a convent in southern Spain (between Cordoba and Seville). The statue, which has become one of Prague’s symbols, stands now in one of the altars of the Church of the Virgin Mary the Victorious in Malá Strana. Devotes worldwide come to ask for graces, healings, blessings or favours and it is said that the statue performed many miracles and still does. Many plaques are hanging on the walls around the statue thanking the Infant Jesus of Prague for His miracles.  Czech Republic, Prague, Hradcany, Nov. 1992
