Vienna

Vienna, the aristocratic capitol of Austria, gently laid down between snow covered pikes, it’s a paradise of architectural beauties and history. The city of Sissy, the city of Freud, of Klimt and of Schiele. The cafés, the museums, the street full of wonderful shops and glittering showcases, everything in Vienna is wrapped in a cloak of charm that strikes the tourist at every corner. Vienna rises on the site of the former Roman campsite of Vindobona built to protect the city of Carnuntum that in the following centuries became Europe’s defensive rampart against the Turkish menace. And it was in Vienna that between the 1814 and the 1815 was decided the fate of Napoleon and Europe, setting the premises for the future European states. It was on the occasion of that Congress of Vienna, when the major powers of the world met top at an end to the grandness of the “Little Corsican”, that the hotels in Vienna housed the pick of the European high society. Nowadays, this gorgeous city has become part of the UNESCO World’s Heritage.
