Buenos Aires
Buenos Aires is the capital of the country of Argentina, and is located where the Rio De La Plata empties into the Atlantic. The Greater Buenos Aires area has a population of over twelve million people, so this is no “get away from it all” destination. In fact, quite the opposite, Buenos Aires is a party all year long! It is the birthplace of the tango, and in fact celebrates “Tango Day” every December 11th. The people of this city are vibrant, crazy about soccer, and live life to its fullest every day. Of course, there is culture here, too, in the form of beautiful architecture and museums. After you’ve had your fill of museums and mansions, there are cafes and coffee shops literally on every corner so you can relax and collect yourself before a night on the town. Never mind New York, this is the city that never sleeps; nightclubs send out a throbbing beat until the sun comes up. Then, of course, there is the endless shopping and eating. In between all of those things, there are beautiful beaches as well.
